Absolute Batman #25

Years ago, after leaving the Falcone Family, Bruce goes to Croc's Gym where his friends are having their regular poker game. He apologises for how he has acted in the last year and admits that he didn't do what he did to protect Selina, but because he was scared and it felt good to lash out against the people he cared about. He then goes to leave but Oz tells him to sit down and join the game. In the present day, Batman smashes in to Grimm Manor and storms through it, calling for Grimm to show himself. He bursts into a room and finds his friends there waiting for him. They tell him to sit down and hear them out, and Bruce immediately assumes that the Joker got to them. They reveal that Grimm came to speak with each of them and convinced them that he's not the monster Bruce claims he is, and that he allowed them to look into his companies and they weren't able to find any evidence he is responsible for any of the terrible things that have happened. They tell him that Grimm is just a guy who is worried about Bruce and his obsession, and wants to help all of them.
