Superman #43

Cat Grant, former gossip columnist at the Daily Planet, has decided to perform more serious research by following Marilyn Moonlight in her supernatural activities. In one of her nightly patrols, Marilyn found a graveyard that suddenly appeared out of nowhere. She advises Cat to leave while she still can, but Cat decides to stay and both make their way to a mausoleum. Meanwhile, Superman has tried to readjust to his daily routine after the battle in El Caldero. Lois observes that Clark has not written a story for a long time and advises him to take a sabbatical, but Clark insists that he is ready to get back to work. Superman listens to the monstrous Chemo attacking the bay of A Guarda and goes out to stop him, but he does offer to multitask by listening to whatever information Lois can feed him. While Superman neutralizes Chemo, Lois informs him that there has been a series of mysterious disappearances throughout Southside Heights and that Perry might issue a curfew as a security measure. As Clark returns to the Daily Planet, Lois believes that the best way for him to get back to the world is by assigning him a partner: Jimmy.
