Emperor Aquaman #22

Animal Girl and Swamp Thing explain to Aquaman that he is on Mogo, who suffered a serious injury by crashing into another planet and has been unable to heal fully. Mogo contacted them as Avatars of the elemental forces, and they came to investigate. They search Mogo's landscape and find a crack in a mountain dripping with black ooze. Aquaman senses something wrong below the ground and they enter the crack. Meanwhile on Earth, Lolanna and her followers search the Atlantean Royal Palace for the Zodiac Crystals, ancient sources of power hidden away by Lolanna's father Grand Vizier Thule. Lolanna eventually deduces that he hid them inside the throne itself and blows it open, revealing the last four crystals. On Mogo, the three Avatars encounter a creature of black ooze called Chaotix, a minion of the Lords of Chaos. It is resistant to all their attacks, but Aquaman is able to destroy it by summoning all the water on Mogo to dilute it down to nothing. Although the way back to Earth is blocked, Aquaman opens a portal to a closer planet, planning to make his way home from there. He goes through an emerges in an ocean on New Korugar, facing the Sinister Sons.
